Prof. Tamara Toros
Coach Tamara Toros was born in Budapest, Hungary, and is a 20-year-old Black Belt, professional athlete, and multiple-time champion. Under the guidance of Professor Gustavo Galvão, she has achieved remarkable success, becoming a 4-time World and European Champion in the color belts, as well as a Vice World Champion at the Black Belt Professional level, and 2X Grand Slam Champion in the black belt division.
Tamara has been part of the Atos Team since 2019. In 2020, she made the bold decision to leave her hometown of Budapest to pursue her dream of becoming a Black Belt World Champion, training full-time at our academy, Atos Jiu Jitsu School Barcelona.
Now in her third year of teaching, Tamara leads our Kids Program and is the head coach of both our Women’s Jiu Jitsu and Women’s Self-Defense programs. Her mission is to encourage women and children through Jiu Jitsu—helping them build confidence, strength, and the ability to protect themselves both on and off the mats.
